Four Songs for Nuthin'
I'm proud to release this collection of socially worthless songs.
I love getting older. It is, of course, an opportunity not everyone gets. And I do love to find the humor in all places. Hence "Mowing the Lawn", a true story about Tuesday mornings at Crosswinds Mobile Home Park.
"All That and a Bag o' Chips"? Totally fictitious song written about a girl I never saw. Honest.
A few years ago some friends of ours had a party in Cape Coral for their 40th wedding anniversary. I think I was still hung over when I wrote and recorded "Cape Coral (At the Session)".
And "Toot! Toot! I'll Be Gone" was another written just for fun. Inspired by "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright", kinda, sorta.
Have fun listening to this. I had a blast making it.
Fun tunes can heal wounds.
Larry sings and plays keyboard with the best of them, and has been playing Classic Rock since long before it was called Classic Rock. Larry started playing the piano by ear at the age of three. He started classical lessons at ten and has been playing paying gigs since the age of thirteen. His path has led him through diverse musical combinations, performing for and with people in the industry ranging from Johnny Cash to Rick Braun to .38 Special. All the drums, bass, and other orchestration you hear were recorded by Larry. Guest vocals by Melissa Jean and Laura Welkey on "Mowing the Lawn".
So sit back and enjoy 12 minutes of songs. For totally no reason. Except you might enjoy those 12 minutes.
